Doença de Crohn — Privacy policy
Updated October 26, 2026. Data controller: Asppect Design LTDA. Privacy and support contact: contato@asppect.com.br.
The app
Doença de Crohn is a free, ad-free app for adults. It helps organize personal records, medications according to the prescription received, water, appointments, documents and questions for your healthcare team. It does not require an account and does not provide diagnosis, prescriptions or treatment.
Data on your device
You choose to record your name, contacts, care information, symptoms, well-being, food, sleep, water, medications, doses, appointments, places and documents. Health data is sensitive. The app uses it only for the features you activate.
The local database and documents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The key remains in secure system storage. Protection also depends on your phone's security. There is no proprietary server for your records, advertising, usage tracking or sale of data.
Apple Health and Health Connect
Connecting is optional and requires your action and system permission. When connected, the app only writes the water volume you record, combined into daily totals, to Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). It does not request permission to read data from these services. Symptoms, medications, documents and notes are not sent through this integration.
Connecting can also send amounts you recorded earlier. Edits and deletions update only records sent by this app while connected. Sync runs while the app is open or when you return to it; background sending is not guaranteed.
You can disconnect in More → Device health. Disconnecting stops new sends without automatically deleting previous records. Remove sent data requests deletion of water records sent by this app when permission is available. You can also remove data and revoke permissions in the health service's settings.
After sending, the health service stores data according to its own settings and policy. The app does not use this data for advertising, sale, commercial profiling or insurance/credit decisions. It does not modify data entered by other apps. Erasing local data or uninstalling the app may leave earlier records in the health service; manage them in Apple Health or Health Connect as well.
Sharing and backups
Reports and documents are shared only when you open system sharing and choose a destination. Decrypted files and PDFs are temporary and removed from the cache after the action and on the next launch. A file already shared is under the recipient's control.
Backups are manual, in an encrypted file protected by a password you choose. We do not store that password. Without the file and password, we cannot recover lost records. Replacing or losing your phone, or uninstalling the app, can cause data loss without a backup. Restoring a backup does not automatically enable the health service connection.
Permissions
The app may request local notifications, biometrics/device passcode, access to files you select in the system picker and permission to write water to the health service. Permissions are used for the features described. The app does not access background location, device contacts or the microphone. Opening maps, calling or visiting external sources uses your chosen app/service and its policy.
Control and deletion
You can edit or delete records and use More → Backup and privacy → Erase all my data to logically delete local records. Deletion does not guarantee forensic erasure of flash memory, exported files or system copies. Data sent to a health service or shared elsewhere must also be managed at those destinations.
We do not maintain a remote registry of your records. For privacy questions, requests or support, email contato@asppect.com.br without attaching unnecessary health data.
Children and clinical care
This version is for people aged 18 or older. The app does not replace professional care. Educational content identifies its sources and clinical review status. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service. In Brazil, call 192 (SAMU).
Changes
Policy changes will be published on this page with the update date. New data uses or permissions will be presented in the app when applicable.
